Your safari will allow for plenty of wildlife viewing in the iconic areas of Kenya. You will stay at comfortable well-situated lodges chosen for their excellent locations and organized in a manner to maximize your game viewing time and minimize your transfer times from park to park. It provides some cultural opportunities as well. Then if you want continue on to the beautiful coast on the Indian Ocean in Diani for a few days of R&R. This is a trip designed for you to fall in love with Africa – its beauty, its people and its wildlife.

Full Itinerary

Day 1: You will be met upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi by an Infinite Safari Adventure representative who will later transfer you to The Boma Hotel (BB) a lovely hotel close to airport and next door to the International Red Cross Headquarters, which is its owner. Nairobi is the capital and the largest city of Kenya, the city was founded by the British in 1899 as a simple rail depot on the railway. It is a major business hub in East and Central Africa; it’s also regional and national headquarters of various international business and organizations. Here you will rest from your flight as you prepare to start your safari adventure the following day!

Day 2: After breakfast your guide will pick you up for a city tour which includes a visit to David Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage where you will learn how they rescue orphaned baby elephants and release them back to the wild, The Giraffe Centre where visitors enjoy feeding giraffes from a raised observation platform and finally a visit to Karen Blixen Museum which was once the centerpiece of a farm at the foot of the Ngong hills owned by Danish author Karen and her Swedish husband, Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke. Then enjoy lunch as the guest of Infinite Safari Adventures. After lunch you will return to The Boma Hotel (FB) to relax, catch up on your jet lag and get ready to go on Safari!

Day 3: This morning after breakfast and checking out you will depart by road to Amboseli National Park. Depending on road conditions we expect to arrive at the camp in time for lunch. You will stay at Kibo Safari Tented Camp, (FB). I have spent much time here. The camp has spacious tents, a wonderfully friendly staff and even massage facilities. The camp’s beds have been custom designed and locally made using bush logs and will ensure a good night’s sleep! You will also have beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. Amboseli is famous the big families of Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, Gazelles, Impalas, Zebras etc.

Day 4: After a leisurely breakfast you will head out to another game drive in Amboseli park. The park which is famous for its tranquil beauty that allows fabulous wildlife viewing, photography and easy approachable wildlife which include big families of Elephants, Lions and Cheetahs etc. You will have an optional visit to Maasai village and possibly Infinite Safari Adventures water well project. Your visit will reveal the singing and dancing that are part of Maasai daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a memorable experience. Lunch will be served at the camp followed by afternoon game viewing .You will spend another night at Kibo Safari Tented Camp, (FB)

Day 5: After breakfast at the camp, you will depart by road to Lake Naivasha (drive time is approximately 6 hours with stops along the way) to arrive at Lake Naivasha Sawela Lodge (FB) in time for lunch. The afternoon will be spent at your leisure enjoying the beauty of the Lake Shores and admiring the colonial architecture. You can also book any of the optional activities such as boat ride to Crescent Island, safari to Hells Gate National Park, Hiking at Mount Longonot etc. Your private personal guide will assist you in making these arrangements.

Day 6: Today you will depart by road after breakfast to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. As featured on “Good Morning America,” it's one of the great wonders of the world in terms of animal migrations. You will arrive at the camp in time for lunch that will be served at the Ashnil Mara Tented Camp (FB). Its approximately a five hours drive inclusive of game viewing en-route. This camp is arguably in one of the very best positions in the Masai Mara for game viewing and also provides the perfect setting to sit and relax at the end of an exciting day of game drives. In the afternoon you will do a game drive looking for lions, elephants, rhino, leopards and cape buffalos.

Day 7: You will spend a full day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve which is regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing area in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds. Your time of year may also afford you an opportunity to witness the Great Migration. You can also choose to go for a morning game viewing or an optional balloon ride followed by champagne bush breakfast before returning to the camp in time for lunch. The afternoon will be spent at leisure; you can relax by the sun heated pool before you depart for an evening game viewing. Another night will be spent at Ashnil Mara Tented Camp (FB).

Day 8: Spend a final day in the bush exploring Masai Mara Game Reserve. There is so much to see and do in the Mara that you could spend weeks here. Your guide throughout your stay here will provide you with a wealth of facts on not only the wildlife, but the birds, plants and insects and how they are all intertwined in the “circle of life.” Spend another night at Ashnil Mara Tented Camp (FB). The camp is nestled amongst a small forest overlooking the Mara River. Throughout the day, hippos come to drink from the river.

Day 9: Today after breakfast you you will be transferred by road to the Masai Mara Airstrip for a morning scheduled flight to Nairobi. After saying goodbye to your guides you will board a plane back to Wilson Airport where you will make a connection to Diani Beach. Here you will be driven a short distance down the main road to Almanara Villas (FB). This gated secluded beach resort has one of the best beaches in the area. Having recently stayed here I can attest to the incredible food and hospitality of the owners who have renovated their family compound into a wonderful oasis for you to relax.

Day 10: Wake up in your Deluxe Ocean View room to a view of the Indian Ocean where you can swim safely in its warm waters. Your days here are to do as you please. Spend another night at Almanara Villas (FB).

Day 11: Another day for you to relax in paradise. Swim, nap, sip drinks, and think about nothing else except what to have for your next meal! Spend a final night at Almanara Villas (FB).

Day 12: This morning there will be time for one last swim, stroll on the beach and a final lunch. In the afternoon you will board a 4pm flight back to Wilson airport. Upon arrival you will be picked by Infinite Safari Adventures representative for your final farewell dinner. We have also arranged a day room for you at The Boma Hotel so that you can rest, re-pack and get ready for your international flight home. At the appropriate time you will be transferred to the international airport to connect your late night international flight back home.

This is an all-inclusive trip and includes full board accommodation throughout, (except night at Boma which is bed and breakfast) a specially adapted 4x4 safari vehicles with complimentary bottled water, and experienced English speaking guide for your exclusive use while on safari all transfers and internal flights, park and entrance fees, activities as set forth in the itinerary and regional medical evacuation insurance.

It does not include international flights, Kenya visa, drinks, tips, other activities, international travel insurance and items of a personal nature. We strongly recommend all clients take out international travel insurance – we can advise on this if you would like
