The wildlife here is stunning and don’t be surprised to see leopard, rhino, elephant and the rest of the “Big 5.” Spend another night at Dithaba Lodge (FB).

For the next three nights you will stay at the only lodge in the park – Chobe Game Lodge (FB). This beautiful property where I have been a guest sits on the Chobe River. What makes this place unique is not only that all the guides are women but they use electric safari vehicles and are eco certified. Here you will spend the next 3 nights doing game drives, take a boat trip down the Chobe River and enjoying the wonderful hospitality of this lodge.

Day 7 - Arise at dawn for a game drive. Besides elephants there is the rest of the Big 5 here as well as giraffe, impala, warthogs, and a whole host of other animals and bird life that is attracted by the Chobe River. These floodplains are home to a number of “Delta specials” – species that are found in few other places on Earth. Some of these may even be seen from the privacy of your room! There is also a plunge pool with loungers which is just right for those sunny afternoon naps.

Day 10 - Today is your first full day in the Delta. Go on an early morning game drive. Take a boat ride in the Delta and be surprised what is in store for you with every twist and turn. Day 12 - Alas it is time to leave Africa. After a final game drive, a final delicious breakfast and checkout you will be taken back to the airstrip where you will fly to Maun to connect to Johannesburg and your international flight home.
