Meet Some Of The Kenyan Team

Some of you who have traveled with Infinite Safari in Kenya may recognize the two happy smiling faces in the photo. They are Starphor (on the left) a driver for my ground partner and Dennis (on the right) a guide. Why are they smiling? They are smiling because they love what they do, take pride in doing it and are happy when our clients are happy. I am always grateful as they take such great care of my clients and go above and beyond to insure your happiness and well-being.

Recently as they were giving me a ride to Solio Ranch (stay tuned) I got to spend the day with these guys. It was so good to see them again. And congrats to Dennis as he is the proud new father of a baby boy!

For those that have not yet been to Kenya, I hope you all have the opportunity to meet them in the future.

At Infinite Safari Adventures giving back is not optional. It is part of our responsibility. It is who we are. One of things that means is supporting the people who live alongside wildlife. And to better do that we started The Infinite Safari Foundation. We donate a portion of every safari booked to the foundation in our clients’ name. One of the initiatives we support is the Amani Foundation. It was created to keep families together, with a focus on…

  • Wi-Fi in Africa: What You Need to Know

The internet is an essential part of daily life for just about everyone these days. Staying connected to friends, family, work and play is simple in our hometowns or cities..but what about during a safari in Africa? One of the most common questions my guests ask me is – what about Wi-Fi in Africa? Will I have Wi-Fi? How does it work? Does it cost extra? Will I be able to send texts, check Facebook, or contact my family? So…

  • Another Generation To Pay It Forward test

In 2005 I met a young Maasai Moran (warrior) who had a dream of finishing high school and going to college. He so impressed me that I told him if he wanted to go to college I would help him do it. I had the honor of attending his graduation several years later. That man was Patrick Papatiti. Patrick’s life was changed and he now runs an anti-poaching unit in the Amboseli area of Kenya. We have been close ever…

  • Finishing Up In Zanzibar

After a wonderful time in Tanzania, seeing some amazing places, visiting with old friends and always making new ones it was time to move on to Zanzibar. No, I did not run into Bob Hope, Bing Crosby or Dorothy Lamour (my goodness I am dating myself if you do not get that reference!) but did run into some beautiful beaches, delicious Zanzibarian cuisine and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. There is nothing like rolling out of bed in…

  • Back Among Friends & Family In Kenya

After an amazing time in Uganda and Rwanda it was time to head back to Kenya. Upon arrival in Nairobi we headed down to the Amboseli Area where Patrick lives and where the Infinite Safari Foundation does a lot of work including maintaining the water well we built 10 years ago. Amboseli has one of the best views of Kili you can imagine! Our next steps, when we raise sufficient funds (and yes that is a shameless request to donate…
