This classic Kenyan safari has been created to offer everything that can be included in an African safari of this type and to create memories that will last you a lifetime. This is a custom trip allowing the freedom and flexibility with your own private guide and vehicle to view animals on your schedule and according to your interests. This safari will allow for plenty of wildlife viewing in the iconic areas of Kenya. You will stay at comfortable well-situated lodges chosen for their excellent locations and organized in a manner to maximize your game viewing time and minimize your transfer times from park to park. It provides some unique cultural opportunities as well. This is a trip designed for you to fall in love with Africa – its beauty, its people and its wildlife.
Day 1: Welcome To Africa! Welcome to Africa! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi you will be met by an Infinite Safari Adventure representative who will transfer you to the Boma Hotel (BB) a lovely hotel close to airport and next door to the International Red Cross Headquarters (and owned by them). Nairobi is the capital and the largest city of Kenya. The city was founded by the British in 1899 as a simple rail depot on the railway. It is now a major business hub in East and Central Africa and the regional and national headquarters of various international business and organizations. Here you will rest from your flight as you prepare to start your safari adventure the following day!
Day 2: The Highlights of Nairobi. Today after breakfast you will tour Nairboi with your driver and guide. Today you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wonderful things in Nairobi. One of the highlights will be to visit the Sheldrick Elephant orphanage to learn more about elephants and the conservation efforts surrounding them, by this incredible organization founded by the widow David Sheldrick, the first game warden in Tsavo National Park. Then you will travel to Giraffe Center to learn about these majestic animals and where preservation efforts are ongoing to save Rothschild Giraffes (and with an opportunity to feed and if you want get kissed by a giraffe!) Then you will visit Kazuri Beads. This women’s cooperative is a small jewelry manufacturing operation which you can visit and see the beautiful work they do. Finally it is off to Karen Blixen’s house. This historical home will give you a glimpse of what life was like in Kenya during the time she wrote “Out of Africa.” Then it is back to the hotel for lunch and relaxation.
Day 3: Off To Tsavo! This morning after breakfast and checking out you will depart by either road or possibly the brand new Nairobi to Mombassa rail line to the area of Tsavo National Park. We will arrange a tour at Ithumba reintegration unit which is part of David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, and is primarily reserved for DSWT elephant orphan “foster parents”. Visit the stockade for feeding times and experience the elephants at their mud bath and feeding. The beauty of the location combined with both wild and orphaned elephant interaction will inspire you. Later in the afternoon drive to Tsavo West National Park for late check in at Kilaguni Serena Lodge,
Day 4: A Day In Tsavo. After breakfast you will head out for a game drive in Tsavo National Park. Tsavo West is home to the largest population of red-skinned elephants, many beautiful African wildlife including the black rhinoceros, Hunter’s hartebeest,, Grevy’s zebra. wild dogs and over 500 different bird species have been recorded in the park. Later in the afternoon enjoy a game viewing in the park which might include a visit the Sheetan lava flows and some caves for geological interest; explore the caves or hike along the lava flow.
Day 5: On To Amboseli! This morning after breakfast and checking out you will depart by road to Amboseli National Park. Depending on road conditions we expect to arrive at the camp in time for lunch. You will have beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. Amboseli is famous the big families of Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, Gazelles, Impalas, Zebras etc.
Day 6: A Day In Amboseli. After breakfast you will head out for a game drive in Amboseli park. The park which is famous for its tranquil beauty that allows fabulous wildlife viewing, photography and easy approachable wildlife which include big families of Elephants, Lions and Cheetahs etc. You may also have the option of visiting a Maasai village. Your visit will reveal the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a memorable experience. Lunch will be served at the camp followed by afternoon game viewing.
Day 7: A Final Day In Amboseli. Another game drive awaits you in Amboseli park. Explore different areas of the park. Visit different areas of the park, whether it is the dry area, the lake or marsh area. You will also have another opportunity for a great view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Today may be the day to visit a Maasai village.
Day 8: Off To The Maasai Mara! This morning you will drive back to Amboseli to the airstrip to board a flight to the iconic Maasai Mara. It is considered as a “must see” by almost all visitor going on safari. It is on the “to do” list for many because the park is graced by a wide variety of unique and exquisite wildlife and birds. Game drives, cultural visits, bush dinners, sundowners, scenic flights and balloon rides are all activities available to you in the Mara.
Day 9: A Full Day In The Mara. Spend a full day in the Mara. The Mara is regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing area in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds. Every turn around every corner can reveal something wonderful. You will continue to be amazed by the knowledge of your guide as he does not just share is knowledge about the wildlife but birds and plants as well.
Day 10: Another Great Day In The Mara. Spend another full day in the Mara. Continue your journey looking for wildlife around every corner. You will continue to be amazed by the knowledge of your guide as he does not just share is knowledge about the wildlife but birds and plants as well.
Day 11: A Final Day In The Mara. Spend a final day in the bush exploring Masai Mara Game Reserve. There is so much to see and do in the Mara that you could spend weeks here. Your guide throughout your stay here will provide you with a wealth of facts on not only the wildlife, but the birds, plants and insects and how they are all intertwined in the “circle of life.”
Day 12: Time To Say Until Next Time. Breakfast will served at the camp, followed by a transfer to the airstrip for morning scheduled flight to Nairobi. A farewell lunch will be served at a city restaurant in Nairobi. You will then be transferred to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international departure flight (B.L.D)
All good things must come to an end, but it is not goodbye but only until next time. Africa is now in your blood. At the appropriate time you be transferred to the airport for your international flight home.

What this means is that from the moment you land from the moment you are on the plane to go home you do not plan anything, worry about anything or reach into your pocket for anything while on safari except drinks, tips and items of a personal nature. It also does not include international flights, visa fees, other activities, or international travel insurance. We strongly recommend all clients take out international travel insurance – we can advise on this if you would like.
